Glenn Campbell’s Daughter Sings A Tribute For Her Father – And Has The World In Tears.

Ashley Campbell’s new song “Remembering” gives us her heartbreaking perspective on her father’s illness. Glenn Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s four years ago and now today barely recognizes his loved ones and can no longer play music. His wife says he still has the same twinkle in his eye and the family visits him every day in the memory care facility that is just minutes from his home.

His family is dedicated to focusing on raising awareness for Alzheimer’s and Ashley’s song her is beautiful and emotional tribute. The love and affection she has for her father are strongly portrayed as she’s extremely proud of him and honoring him. She wrote the words to the song with another songwriter, Kai Welch. The sweet lyrics “Daddy, don’t you worry, I’ll do the remembering” are truly heart wrenching and beautiful at the same time. What a beautiful way to honor her father who is loved by so many.
